I met Bill and Ann 30 years ago in 1980 when they lived at their flat in New Malden. I was instantly greeted with a very friendly welcome and over the years spent many happy hours in their company. Bill's Sunday roast dinners were legendary and huge! Bill was always so friendly and generous towards me and that is how I shall always remember him.
